Diversità Artistica

Salvatore D’Angelo was born in Nuremberg, Germany, by Italian father and Greek mother. His father as a barber was very lucky to meet many people, some of them important, creative but mostly diverse. Salvatore’s childhood was influenced by Agrigento of Sicily but mainly by so many different people he met and places he visited. Being a barber himself too and actually a successful one, Salvatore is a perfectionist. But his most important characteristic is diversity… the way he sees life, the way he understands the life!

He pushes his brushes onto a surface, flattering his “acrylic” faces as if he wanted to share a little of his experience and prolong with the liveliness of colors, making available their real or imaginary life. The theoretical dilemma: “art for expression or expression for art” ceases to exist as it is motivated by the need for characters for a lively and imaginative conversation with their viewer-listener. In reality, the role of the painter who wishes and seeks to develop emotions while viewing his works, emerges.

He concludes by saying that at a time when the struggle with colors becomes tranquil of the brush, at the moment when the artist’s intensity becomes serenity of his soul, then and only then, the work is completed. This is giving a kick for a “new communication”.
